Pixel Art + Netflix = Landflix Odyssey

Landflix is a free indie game about the tv series, like DareDevil, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and others. It's still a demo but it's very cool. And it's in exclusive on indiexpo.
Let's see more about it:

The Studio

Rome-based indie dev Fantastico Studio has unveiled Landflix Odyssey, a 2D platformer that parodies your favourite cult TV shows while you explore a mock version of Netflix.

The Game

The game has five different worlds - with each one pastiching everything from Game Of Thrones to Stranger Things - as you hunt down a set of radioactive batteries for a man who's purposely ripping off Doc Brown from Back To The Future. It's very silly, and very 2018, but we like the look of its mixture of satire and challenging platforming mechanics.

Nintendo Switch

The campaign has a stretch goal for a Switch version at €20,000 (roughly $25,000). Fantastico had told us that a release on Switch had been secured even without the Kickstarter, and reaching the main campaign goal would allow for the company to avoid going through a publisher.

It's on Kickstarter! You can support it here

This is our cool cover!

The Story of Pokemon Uranium... and the Copyright.

The copyright exists.
It's changing fastly... but it exists. And it's hard to think to do a Great Game downloaded by over 1,500,000 players and haven't problems.

This is the story of Pokemon Uranium. It is a free fangame made in RPGmaker XP, released on August 6, 2016, finally done after 9 years.

It's primarily the work of two creators, the pseudonymous "~JV~" (the Game Developer of Pokémon Uranium. He is responsible for programming, scripts, events, maps, fixing bugs, creating and maintaining the Online systems, and more. He lives in Brazil and studies Engineering.) and "Involuntary Twitch" (the Game Designer of Pokémon Uranium. She designs and sprites all of the Pokémon, plans out story events, writes the in-game text, and designs and maintains the website. She lives in the Northeast United States.).

The game takes place in the Tandor region, where the player must collect 8 Gym Badges in order to compete in the Tandor Regional Championship. Along the way, the player must also fill up their Pokedex with entries of more than 190 different species of Pokémon. Dozens of original Pokémon; and even a new Pokémon type befitting the game's name: nuclear.

Over 12,000 followers on Twitter, a forum with over  17,000 members registered, a wiki page made by fans with over 400 pages and numerous articles about it in all the world wide web. One word : viral.

But a viral game like this... can not have an happy ending. After only few days, the lawyers of Nintendo of America contacted the developers and now the link to download the game is removed.

After 9 years to develop a game, only few day of fame. And now several gamers are asking : "Where I can download Pokemon Uranium ?" but the developers are clear : "We will no longer provide official download links for the game through our website. We have no connection to fans who reupload the game file to their own hostrs, and we cannot verify those download links are all legitimate. We advise you to be extremely cautions about downloading the game from unofficial sources."
