Experience terror like never before in Fleshforward - the ultimate survival horror game!

Fleshforward is a survival horror game, developed using Rpg Maker VX Ace, that takes players on a journey through a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. The game features a mix of action combat, stealth mechanics, and a glimpse of the main campaign from the first game in the series.

The developers at Linked Rooms Games have made several improvements and added new features to the game, including faster dialogue, improved zombie AI, new keys for controls, and improved menu functions. One of the standout features of Fleshforward is the immersive gameplay.

The game does a great job of building tension and creating a sense of fear and uncertainty as players navigate through the dangerous world. The action combat is intense, and the stealth system adds an extra layer of strategy to the gameplay.

The improved zombie AI is also a welcome change, as it makes the enemies more unpredictable and challenging to take down. In addition to the gameplay, the game also boasts improved graphics and sound effects. The new sound effects, such as those for when the player is hit by a zombie or when their stamina reaches zero, add to the overall atmosphere of the game. The improved User Interface for the menu and the added Guide for playing on Mac are also nice touches that make the game more accessible and user-friendly.

Overall, Fleshforward is a solid survival horror game that offers a thrilling and immersive experience for players. The improvements and new features added by Linked Rooms Games only add to the overall enjoyment of the game.

If you're a fan of old-school survival horror games, or just looking for a good scare, Fleshforward is definitely worth checking out.

Steel Zeroes & Shopbot Sisters. The creations of Pedrovin (Kieran Harris)

Steel Zeroes
is a delightful RPG that tells the story of two robots, Luke and Eva, as they embark on a journey to save the Earth from an otherworldly threat.

The game is filled with charming and colorful characters, and the plot is engaging and well-written. One of the things that sets Steel Zeroes apart from other indie games is its cute and colorful art style. The characters are designed with a lot of personality, and the world they inhabit is full of vibrant colors and interesting locations. The music is also well-done, with catchy and upbeat tracks that help to add to the game's overall charm.

The gameplay in Steel Zeroes is smooth and enjoyable, with a variety of different enemies and challenges to face as you progress through the game. The game also features a robust character customization system, allowing you to tailor your team to your playstyle.

Overall, Steel Zeroes is a charming and enjoyable RPG that is well worth checking out for fans of the genre. Whether you're a seasoned RPG veteran or a newcomer to the genre, there's something here for everyone to enjoy.

This first project, developed by Pedrovin (Kieran Harris) using RPG Maker, is followed by another game: Shopbot Sisters.

Shopbot Sisters has a similar style and it is placed in the world of Nerale, where Souldroids, sentient robots, thrive alongside humanity. In this vibrant world, meet Ail and Ali, two Souldroid sisters and the mascots of the popular Shopbot Supermarket Services franchise.

As the oldest sister, Ali has always taken on a more rough-and-tumble approach to life. But when her younger sibling, Ail, gets fed up with her bossy behavior, she decides to take matters into her own hands. And what better way to get back at her sister than by turning the store's warehouse into a series of challenging puzzles?

Players of Shopbot Sisters will guide Ail through the warehouse gauntlet, using their problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and outsmart Ali at every turn. With vibrant, hand-drawn graphics and a quirky sense of humor, this indie game is sure to delight players of all ages.

Cheat or Cooperate? Nicky Case shows The Evolution of Trust

During World War I, peace broke out. It was Christmas 1914 on the Western Front.
Despite strict orders not to chillax with the enemy, British and German soldiers left their trenches, crossed No Man's Land, and gathered to bury their dead, exchange gifts, and play games.

Meanwhile: it's 2017, the West has been at peace for decades, and wow, we suck at trust.
Surveys show that, over the past forty years, fewer and fewer people say they trust each other.

So here's our puzzle: Why, even in peacetime, do friends become enemies? And why, even in wartime, do enemies become friends?

Nicky Case thinks that the game theory can help explain our epidemic of distrust – and how we can fix it! So, to understand all this...

You can play online his game, The Evolution of Trust, to test several combinations and to learn so more about the cooperation. Is it possible in our modern time? What are the consequences?

It was translated in over 20 languages and share all around the world.

3 indie games that look like 3 famous Movies

Did you never play a game thinking... "Oh, it looks like that movie!"

In the last period we saw so many video games in the theaters. Like Warcraft (amazing!), or Assassin's Creed or Tomb Raider. Who loves this kind of games, loves also this kind of movie.
But sometimes happens also something of different... You're playing an indie game and it looks like one of your favourite movies.
It happens to me, playing those games:

Dex/Ghost in the Shell

In Dex, exploring with a girl the streets of a cyberpunk city as you run for your life from the mercs of The Complex hunting you down, I said "oh! It's Ghost in the Shell!" It is an American science fiction action film directed by Rupert Sandersand, based on the Japanesemanga of the same name by Masamune Shirow. It stars Scarlett Johansson, and set in a near future when the line between humans and robots is blurring, the plot follows the Major(Johansson), a cyborg supersoldier who investigates her past.

The Ledge/Man on a Ledge

In the Ledge you are a man... on a ledge. But, why are you here? And where did I see it? Oh, yes! Man on a Ledge is a 2012 American thriller film directed by Asger Leth, starring Sam Worthington and Elizabeth Banks!

Noiz/Death Race

Not a simple race. Traps, weapons, explosions. Did you never see Death Race?  In the movie "Death Race", the racers, along with their navigators, compete in a three-part race over three days on a closed track. The track is littered with pressure plates that activate either the cars' offensive weapons, defensive equipment or deadly traps. Any racer winning five races will be granted freedom. Yes, a little bit as Carmageddon. But with...the aliens?

Ao Oni: from Rpg Maker 2003... to the Cinema

The Animation anime film revealed the character designs, cast, and story.
Ao Oni is a Japanese survival horror game with RPG and puzzle elements. Although each version differs heavily from the others, the objective is always the same. Locked in a mansion, you explore and solve puzzles while running from an enigmatic demon. It’s made with Rpg Maker.

It’s free and you can download it here.

The film, in comparison to the currently airing television anime comedy series, will be closer to the traditional mystery horror of the original game, although it will have a new story that is different from the original game, novelization, and live-action films.
The independently developed freeware game gained a cult status online in Japan, gaining notoriety on websites such as Niconico and YouTube where Ao Oni-related videos exceeded 50 million views in 2013.

The popularity of the game revolves around the effectiveness of its horror aspects despite being a simple game, with the background music often being cited as a key contributor to the chilling atmosphere used to incite fear.

The story takes place in a suburban town by a mountain forest. The five members of the high school's folklore research club are trying to think of ideas for the culture festival when they discover a former member's collection of research notes from 40 years ago. The legend described in the notes resembles a popular free game called "Ao Oni," so they choose the game as their culture festival theme. They are able to meet with the game's creator, but shortly afterward the creator dies mysteriously. The club members are investigating the mystery at the school when the door shuts and they find themselves locked inside.

The film is slated to open in 2017.

User Stories: Signorino Alessio - How to Make an Horror Game

Hello guys! My name is Signorino Alessio!
I'm the developer of Silent Memories P.T., a fan RPG Maker game based from the famous original game Silent Hills P.T. developed by Hideo Kojima for Konami.
I just want to say first of all, thanks all of you supporters, when everyone test it and says how good it was, that makes me very happy!
I'll continue to work on it, to give you something that Konami didn't.

About your games:
As a developer, I want to give some advices if your planning to create games!
First of all, you really need to think what you want to do, and be sure if you could really work for that game, because if you think to do something you can't realize, you could give up soon. I had this problem one time, trust me. My favourite RPG tool is VX Ace, because is professional but simple. It can support most of formats and it have a lot of resources. You can obviously choose some other engine, but this is what I love.
If you are planning to create something big, find help and create a team like us, you can't do it all alone! About the publish, it's better by starting on RPG Maker Forums, that's the nice place to publish your games, like I did on "Rpg²s", one of the best Italian Forums. You can add your games on IndieDB ecc... I would prefer Indiexpo because it has free access for every player and developer, and the staff is really helpful!

My story: How Silent Memories is born?
I always liked and played the Silent Hill saga. I meet this game my first time when I bought Metal Gear Solid, which included the Silent Hill 1 Demo. After the PS1 game, I played Silent Hill 2 & 3 on PS2 and I really started to love this series. Even if I couldn't play other Silent Hill games, I always watched the others series on Youtube.
The day I met Silent Hills was during PewDiePie's gameplay
I really liked the atmosphere of that game, but then it comes the bad news: Silent Hills Cancelled. After 2 years, I saw a lot of fan games based on P.T., but I never seen a RPG Fan Game, so I just said "Why don't we try too with an RPG Maker version?". So the project started, and finally is here. Of course, I couldn't make it without my friends, everyone in the Team helped for Testing, Graphics and especially my two best friends Silvio Fosso, my Co-Developer, helping every time, and Dakota James Emery Dennis, our best composer, who did a Soundtrack Cover of the original Silent Hill 1 Theme.

My pubblic:
People seems enjoy our creation, and that make us really happy!
For the success, we started to think about a sequel with the full story of this game.
For the sequel I searched a lot of theories of the Silent Hills fans, and we found everything useful for the full plot! We're just thinking to call the Sequel
"Silent Memories P.S.", which means "Playable Story" or to leave it Silent Memories, because the first letters S.M. could mean "Story Mode". People asked to make it for MV, but unfortunally, that engine can't use my strategies, but anything could change. I want to say again, thanks all you folks!

Our goal, is to let people know, that TwoD Studios can bring some beautiful games made in Italy!
Thank all you folks and thanks to Indiexpo and his staff!

The Story of Pokemon Uranium... and the Copyright.

The copyright exists.
It's changing fastly... but it exists. And it's hard to think to do a Great Game downloaded by over 1,500,000 players and haven't problems.

This is the story of Pokemon Uranium. It is a free fangame made in RPGmaker XP, released on August 6, 2016, finally done after 9 years.

It's primarily the work of two creators, the pseudonymous "~JV~" (the Game Developer of Pokémon Uranium. He is responsible for programming, scripts, events, maps, fixing bugs, creating and maintaining the Online systems, and more. He lives in Brazil and studies Engineering.) and "Involuntary Twitch" (the Game Designer of Pokémon Uranium. She designs and sprites all of the Pokémon, plans out story events, writes the in-game text, and designs and maintains the website. She lives in the Northeast United States.).

The game takes place in the Tandor region, where the player must collect 8 Gym Badges in order to compete in the Tandor Regional Championship. Along the way, the player must also fill up their Pokedex with entries of more than 190 different species of Pokémon. Dozens of original Pokémon; and even a new Pokémon type befitting the game's name: nuclear.

Over 12,000 followers on Twitter, a forum with over  17,000 members registered, a wiki page made by fans with over 400 pages and numerous articles about it in all the world wide web. One word : viral.

But a viral game like this... can not have an happy ending. After only few days, the lawyers of Nintendo of America contacted the developers and now the link to download the game is removed.

After 9 years to develop a game, only few day of fame. And now several gamers are asking : "Where I can download Pokemon Uranium ?" but the developers are clear : "We will no longer provide official download links for the game through our website. We have no connection to fans who reupload the game file to their own hostrs, and we cannot verify those download links are all legitimate. We advise you to be extremely cautions about downloading the game from unofficial sources."
